Vía Casiopea
Torre Salinas – Central Massif – Climbing with guide in Picos de Europa
This road is located in the enclave of the Vega de Liordes, an idyllic and isolated place within the central massif of the National Park of Picos de Europa and belonging to the community of León.
This route is a great classic that should not be missing in any climber’s notebook, given its alpine character, verticality and climbing style. Its 380 meters of climbing plus the final 120 meters of beautiful summit ridge will leave us more than satisfied.
At the summit we have an excellent panoramic view of the three massifs of Picos de Europa with peaks such as Torrecerredo, Torre de Peñalba, Llambrión etc… and part of the Montaña Palentina, such as the impressive north faces of Espigüete and Curavacas…
Opened on September 18, 78 by Javier Alonso, José C. Tamayo and Jesús M. San Cristóbal.
